The Story of
Tara's Quilts
I have sewed since I was a teenager and learned much of what I know from my grandmother. I began quilting over 10 years ago. I enjoy the creativity that comes with every quilt. There is so much craft that goes into each creation: selecting fabrics, blending colors, finding a pattern, the quilting design and choice of threads.

As a busy mother of 3 teenagers I have found that quilting became a hobby that I could unwind and indulge in my creative side. I am also a bit of a collector. I found myself holding onto the T-shirts of my children over the years. I have always wanted to create a quilt to hold onto the memories (and not in a bin) so I started making T-shirts quilts for my family. As my kids have gotten older and I had more time to sew, I was blessed with the opportunity to open a small business and create quilts. I enjoy the opportunity to recreate the memories for others and give them something that can be thrown on a couch, cuddled up with on cool days, or for those who leave the "nest" - have something to take with them and always be reminded of the comforts of home.

Each block has a story to tell and with just a glimpse you'll recall it well. So as the memories flow, wrap around snug, and close your eyes tight for a heartfelt hug! I look forward to working with you in creating a treasure for your family to enjoy.
